2008 National High School Mock Trial Championship

Welcome to Delaware, host of the 25th Annual National High School Mock Trial Championship which will be held this week in the City of Wilmington May 7 through May 11, 2008.

Delaware's Host Committee worked hard to plan and prepare for the 2008 event. We look forward to hosting the 25th Annual Championship and welcoming you to the First State.

On this 25th Anniversary Year, championship teams from across the United States, the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, Guam and South Korea will make their way to Wilmington, Delaware to compete for the prestigious National High School Mock Trial Championship.

2007 Season

Jonesboro High School Team won the 2007 National High School Mock Trial Championship "after four intense and challenging rounds of competition," reported Dallas, the 2007 Championship hosts.

Jonesboro High School from Jonesboro, Georgia met Kalamazoo Central High School from Kalamazoo, Michigan in the Championship Round of the 24th National High School Mock Trial Championship.

Both teams were undefeated going into the final round.

"The jury, composed of jurists from New Mexico as well as Texas, voted in favor of Georgia, thus crowning Jonesboro High School as the 2007 Championship Team" making Georgia a three-time holder of the National Championship Title."
